The Lou Messugo Blog - life in the south of France from a British/Australian TCK's perspective, bringing you French culture, travel on the Côte d'Azur and beyond, expat issues and a little bit of je ne sais quoi all mixed up with a hefty dose of photography.
Let's talk about "Lou Messugo". Sometimes I get the feeling people are confused about Lou Messugo. What / who is it exactly? Perhaps I’m too wary of promoting my own business on this blog that it’s not actually clear that Lou Messugo is first and foremost a gîte, a holiday apartment, a vacation rental, a self-catering holiday let with pool (sleeps 4), call it what you will, it’s a damn fine place to spend some time in …. And it is also a blog (but it isn't me!)
It’s been a while since I’ve written about the wildlife at Lou Messugo but not for the lack of it, far from it, this summer has been all about snakessssssss and pretty green frogs. I guess that could be a bit of an exaggeration as the summer hasn’t really been all about these creatures, but in terms of wildlife seen in the garden recently, these two have featured.
