It's at our nearest ski resort Victoria, and yes it had more snow than most of the rest of the Alps!!!

Love the expression. I had to look up sledging. Here in the U.S. we would call it sledding. I also learned that in Australian, sledging is to heap abuse on your opponent in Cricket. We would call it trash talking.
Hope you'll consider playing along with Dreaming of France, which I post every Monday. Here’s my Dreaming of France meme

Paulita, every time you comment you write "here's my Dreaming of France meme" but there's nothing there! I know sledging is sledding in the US (and I used the word in the URL!) but I didn't know about the Australian definition!

It was very deep but also full of bumps and holes which made sledging quite challenging.

Brilliant picture. I'm sad we've had no snow at all for over a year here.

We have to drive just under an hour to get snow, it's VERY rare on the coast where I live but luckily there are ski resorts nearby for fun like this.

Where did al the bumps come from? A herd of marauding mastodons?

    Phoebe Sunday, 08 January 2017

That's about the only explanation I can think of!

Looks jolly bumpy and uncomfortable. But what a lovely day and you have snow.

  • Guest
    Phoebe Sunday, 08 January 2017

It was too bumpy for all adults except crazy JF! The snow is great at Gréolières at the moment - much better than in the higher resorts in the northern Alps!
