That is a brilliant shot, you captured typical English weather too!

I must say it was very typical English weather, but it didn't spoil our fun.

We finally got on it the other day, in just the same sort of weather, and hugely enjoyed it. We were treated by our three (adult!) children, which made it all the better.

I've been on The Eye 3 times now and loved it each time - the boys, however, were too young to remember when we took them on so I really should try to get back there so they can go on again.

Cool pic! We were in London yesterday but because of the weather didn't bother going on the London Eye, didn't think we'd see very far!

We nearly didn't go and then we'd risk it and it was great, we could see pretty well as it was only drizzling. (It also meant the queue wasn't very long, which was a bonus).

It looks a bit damp! Lovely photo. I would love to take the kids on this.

  • Guest
    Phoebe Sunday, 21 February 2016

It was just light drizzle, looking the other way it was dry, but I rather liked the effect of the droplets on the glass.

  • Guest

Yup, we still had a good view, the rain wasn't too hard, more like drizzle really.

Is that snow coming down? My husband and kids went on the London Eye a few weeks ago and loved it, but I was happy to stay on the ground!

    Phoebe Sunday, 21 February 2016

No it was drizzle, though it was very cold outside!

Shame it was wet, but even so I bet the view was good! We did this years ago and I really enjoyed it x

I am trying to work out where this is! It looks like London to me, especially because of the rain! #MySundayPhoto

    Tim Sunday, 21 February 2016

Shame about the weather - but hope you enjoyed it. Rain or shine, we've always loved the experience of seeing London from on high.

    Phoebe Sunday, 21 February 2016

I've wanted to go on it for years but one of my kids is very afraid of heights so we never go on it when in London. This time I was there without my kids so it was the perfect opportunity and I loved it. Even in the rain.

We did this last week too, love your photo, did you do the 4D cinema too? My Kids adored that

  • Guest
    Phoebe Sunday, 21 February 2016

Funny that we were there at almost the same time. No I didn't go to the cinema, I was having an adult weekend, which meant galleries, restaurants and the Eye.
