All About France #9

Welcome to the 9th All About Francethe monthly link up all about France! If you're a blogger and this is your first time here you might want to find out what it's all about here. If you're simply visiting my blog for a read then I hope you enjoy all the posts about France; you'll find plenty more from previous linkies here.

Thanks to everyone who linked up last month, there was a great turn out for "la rentrée" and unsurprisingly plenty of interesting posts about this infamous September period.  Three posts really stood out for me last time and if you haven't already read them I urge you to pop over now, you won't be disappointed.  I absolutely loved the crazy story of the man who sold the Eiffel Tower from the Curious Rambler, such a gem!  Girl Gone Gallic told us about the wacky Independent Republic at the Calanque de Figuerolles which I am determined to get to myself while the weather's still warm and finally Access Riviera showed me some local viewpoints I didn't know about in Top 15 French Riviera viewpoints for amazing photos.  Halloween lantern

I've linked up a post about Halloween in France which I know is early, it's a whole month away, but by the time the next linky comes along it'll have passed.  I'd love to hear from you with thoughts and experiences shared about this very un-French occasion and to hear from different corners of France and different nationalities too.

This month I've been working hard on Pinterest and would love to grow the All About France group board. If you're on Pinterest and you'd like to join in, follow me by clicking this link (their rules not mine, I can't invite you if you don't) and either leave a message here with your Pinterest handle or send me an email so I can add you.

Back to the linky: don't forget there are some rules.  Please don't just link up and run and please don't forget to link back to me. As with all blog link-ups it works best when everybody reads, comments on and shares as many of the other posts linked up as possible (please, try for 2 as a minimum).  Don't forget I like comments on my linked post and here too!

Feel free to use the hashtag #AllAboutFrance when sharing on social media as this gets us all seen even more - I will retweet tweets using it or if you mention me (@FibiTee). Full details of the link-up can be found here. As always it'll be open for a whole week so you have time to get involved!

Thanks for the Halloween post. I guess it'll be here before we know it. I've never really noticed any signs of the holiday in Nice - except for maybe the patisserie windows. But no candy for me this year! I'm trying to control sugar intake.

Controlling sugar intake is wise, but tough living in downtown Nice with all those lovely patisseries around. Good luck!
