All About France #30

Welcome to the 30th All About France monthly blog linky, the place to find the best blogs about France! You’re in the right place if you’re looking to link up a blog post, find some travel inspiration or just have a read about this great country.

Regular readers will have noticed that I've been very quiet on the blog over the last couple of months, just posting a Sunday Photo to keep things ticking over.  Lots is going on in my personal life, things that have conspired to make blogging take a back seat; inspiration all but gone....for now!  The main preoccupation since the last linky was of course The Teen's Baccalaureat school exams.  A month of cajoling, supporting, bribing, encouraging, raging, cursing, and finally, as of yesterday, celebrating his success!  I'm delighted to say he got the marks to go to his first choice university and will be off to start the new exciting chapter of his life in a couple of months' time.

Because of this total lack of new writing I'm linking up one of my oldest posts, from 5 years ago. Don't expect much in the way of new writing over the summer either, I'm taking a break from #AllAboutFrance in August and will be back on the SECOND Thursday in September.  I hope you all have a great summer, I'll see you in la rentrée!

Thanks to everyone who linked up last month, here are a few of my favourites:

Colours of Provence by Vaucluse Dreamer

Parisian Bistronomy: eating my way through the city of lights by Elizabeth's Kitchen Diary

Corsica's Hidden Beaches by Le Long Weekend

My Story #3 Living in Rural France by A French Collection

Do pop over and have a read if you haven't already, I'm sure you'll be inspired..

What is All About France?

All About France is a monthly blog linky, linking up blog posts about France.  These posts can be freshly scribbled or from your archives as a way of bringing new life to an old article.  There is no date limit and the only rule for subject matter is that it is about France in some way.  This can mean French language, French food, French style, French literature, expat life in France, French expats abroad or travel in France among other things.  The linky opens on the 1st Thursday of each month and stays open for a week.

Here's how to join in the fun:

• You can link up one post, old or new as long as it's about France/French.
• Please make sure you include the All About France badge at the bottom of your post or in the sidebar of your blog, or a hyper-link back to me (the code is below).
• Please comment on (my) the host's posts and at least two others, the more the merrier. Blog linkies only work if you're generous with your comments and shares.
• Please use the hashtag #AllAboutFrance when sharing on social media and in your comments.
• Don't forget you can join the Pinterest board and pin your post to it for extra exposure.

***Join in the fun on Instagram, use the hashtag #AllAboutFrance (and follow me @fibitee) and I'll share your picture.  Like/comment on other pictures with the hashtag***

For more information on All About France you can take a look at the introductory post I wrote here. This linky will stay open for a whole week and PLEASE NOTE the next one will be on Thursday 14th September, I'm taking August off and the on first Thursday of September I'll be busy settling The Teen into uni.

Thank you for sharing my post 'My Story #3 Living in Rural France' as one of your favs from last month. Indeed you've had a busy time for any household. My middle child is doing his HSC this year and I totally get the "cajoling, supporting, bribing, encouraging, raging, cursing" bit. Well done to you all to get through and congratulations of course to your son on his achievement. Enjoy your well deserved break... Annette

So pleased you have the horrors of the Bac over and done with and I'm so pleased he got the result he needed for Uni. It's lovely that you liked my last link up so much - the colours here are just so vivid. Hope you have a good summer & everything goes smoothly for you. Take care & will look forward to linking up again in September when sadly I'll be back in the U.K. And back to dreaming again!!
